ilyali Mission Statement: ilyali seeks to uplift the writing and visual art of individuals and collectives who dive into the magical, the fabulous, and fabulist rivers that run through the day-to-day. ilyali is dedicated to the foundation of generative connections between individuals and the environment that both empower and liberate through this very specific and abundant magic.
Irene Lee draws from the blue, and echo, and growth of land. Her work aims to build strong and intimate connections through books, parties, and education. She has collaborated on publishing the zine SETS, Lost Cities, and Spells. She is the founder of the press, ilylali. She was proudly part of a feminist publishing group, Fine Dress Press. Her writing has been featured in a Flux Factory publication for which she taught a writing class called ‘The Wonder Cabinet.’ Irene is certified in CPR and is also a swim instructor.
